Tiny moments of wilderness in the landscape that is in danger of being trampled by civilization. Wide, trampled tourist paths swallow up everything that stands in their way. A breath of wind that you feel on your face is a reminder of lost, never-to-be-returned time. I want to capture this tiny little moment of a wind shift in a video or visualize it in my “pseudo-real landscapes.”
Nature is a miracle and a mystery.
Nature knows no limits and no laws when it comes to mixing colors or creating shapes.
It has always been a special challenge for every artist to depict nature using contemporary, modern instruments of creating art. The many diverse faces of nature fascinate every artist.
For me everything consists of small particles of nature and civilization. I try to “catch” the tensions between these two poles giving space in particular to the “beautiful”. The mix of technology, fiction and reality fascinates me.
My “Landscapes pseudo real” are compositions made up of particles from different landscapes on our planet. In the truest sense of the word, they are immersive and traditional at the same time: symbiotically they combine modern technology (digital creation, animation), my reality (each element is also part of a photograph that I personally took) and my fiction (I made an image out of it). Landscape images created in this way are always real in a certain sense – but also not.
